What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy focuses on nourishing food and lifestyle by adopting a bio-individual and holistic approach to health. Nutritional Therapy encompasses foundational wellness, meaning practitioners work with you to address the root cause of your symptoms. Rather than using a “bandaid” fix to mask the symptoms, we work with you to dive deep into what is causing these symptoms to begin with. 

Nutritional Therapy meets you exactly where you are in your health journey. I teach my clients that eating nutrient-dense, whole foods does not need to be negative or restrictive! We work together to develop/maintain a healthy relationship with food. The symptoms you experience are perhaps common, but they do not need to be your “normal”.

Nutritional Therapy takes a foundational, holistic approach to Wellness. NTP’s work with you to connect symptoms to imbalances. Your symptoms are your body’s way of communicating that something is out of balance. NTP’s focus on and address the following core foundations, which contribute to uncomfortable/unwanted symptoms: Digestion, Blood Sugar Regulation, Hydration, Mineral Balance, Essential Fatty Acids, and these all center around the importance of properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole foods.

I meet all of my clients virtually, we decide on a package that fits your health goals/needs (this is done through a free Discovery Call). I then have you complete in-depth questionnaires (personal health history and symptoms you are experiencing), to ultimately get to the root cause of those annoying symptoms!

 I will help to guide you through your wellness journey by providing an in-depth understanding of what your body is trying to tell you, and what it needs to feel rebalanced and re-energized so you can thrive. 

I believe that there is no “One size fits all” approach when it comes to diet and lifestyle, which is why as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I work with you to discover what works best for you and your body.

With all of that being said, I do NOT put my clients on diets- I don’t believe diets work, and they are not sustainable or realistic.
